the success of the French luxury brand Hermes isn't a wonder any longer

In 1837, a saddle-making company named Hermes was established by Thierry Hermes. Having been operated and developed for more than one hundred years, Hermes becomes a public company. However, Hermes Kelly family still owns thirty percent shares. At the beginning of 20th century, with the popularity of automobile growing, its concentration shifted to luggage and trunks. Thereafter product diversification has become the trend of Hermes. Ties, scarves, perfume and apparel all fell into the items. But what make Hermes extraordinary are its bags.You may feel unbelievable that people wait for six years just for a handbag, but the reason why Hermes succeeds is also behind it. It is an age in which everyone desire indulging into the luxe lifestyle and are willing to max out their credit cards to pursuit top brand luxuries. It takes a single craftsman around 18 hours to produce one of these beauties; what’s more, each one is finished by only one craftsman with the most skillful craftsmanship. The clients never know which place he/she is in the waiting list for the bag. Someone may waiting for six years, but still purchase it in a high price. Even the cheapest one takes approximately US$6,000. Quotations of most bags are running into five figures, some of them can reach US$10.000. But it is fortunate that any damage occurring in your bag can be repaired in France after you return it to Hermes.
